This movie features the collaborative directorial efforts of four new filmmakers, each of whom directs a segment of this comedy. It's New Year's Eve at the Mon Signor Hotel, a former grand old Hollywood hotel, now fallen upon hard times. Often using physical comedy and sight gags, this movie chronicles the slapstick misadventures of Ted, the Bellhop. He's on his first night on the job, when he's asked to help out a coven of witches in the Honeymoon Suite. Things only get worse when he delivers ice to the wrong room and ends up in a domestic argument at a really bad time. Next, he foolishly agrees to watch a gangster's kids for him while he's away. Finally, he finishes off the night refereeing a ghastly wager.

"Four Rooms" is far more entertaining than you expect from your
negative comments in general. That does not mean that anyone that is a masterpiece but if
enjoyed "Love American Style" and on television
Do not be intimidated by an obscene that concept must take into anthology make a
effort to see this film. It was
between the time Tarantino made "Pulp Fiction" and worked on "Dusk till dawn" with
Rodriguez. Many in the large cast are Tarantino and Rodriguez usual.
Here are some of the reasons to watch each of the four stories:

"absent" - Madonna has simply never looked better and
her "come to me" ; Suit burn your eyes. Alicia Witt plays her
alienated adolescent population and delivers sarcasm as only she can.

"The Wrong Man" - Alexander Rockwell directed
this segment shortly after directing "The Soup" by what we already knew how to get the maximum
of Jennifer Beals. His diatribe about Ted's sex organ is a cinema classic
.

"The Misbehavers" - Rodriguez directs his favorite actor Antonio Banderas
into something that is a throwback to classic Laurel and Hardy. Not only
her two children misbehave when left alone in his hotel room, but
his misconduct is so broad that closing shot reveals a room
of total anarchy. It is wonderful slapstick on a large scale,
with comic timing worthy of the Laurales and Hardy and the Marx Brothers.

"Hollywood Man" - This is the best script with Tarantino
reserving the best things for their own character. Even reprises
"tasty beverage" line from "Pulp Fiction. Beals has already found its way to
this room at the time of buttons Roth arrives and she offers more
good lines. I was impressed that Tarantino builds his
order "before" the contest and then began to not try to extend the suspense
but things ended in the first attempt.

The best bit by Roth entire movie could be the phone call to his boss.
Marisa Tomei answers the phone in a room full of coma after
New Years Eve partygoers. He then makes a version of "My Cousin Vinnie"
expert witness routine, this time concerning types of handguns. In the foreground
over time are the only other conscious (but totally stoned
) inhabitants of the room. They are playing against each other in
a video game. One only looking stunned by the fascination to the screen,
holding the controller but not using it as the other player maniacally
manipulation of the other driver
entire phone conversation.
I am sad to say "Four Rooms" is just another great film that has
criticized so much. This rather a splendid and incredibly fun little
film begins quite fun title sequence and improves with each segment
. As almost all of us can say the first one called "The Missing Ingredient
" is more or less a disappointment and see if "Four fourths"
for the first time that I swear that the movie is practically only get
began. Part Two "The Wrong Man" is already much better. David Proval
played Richie Aprile in the television series "The Sopranos" is simply
bloody tremendous. "The Misbehavers" (segment number three
starring Antonio Banderas and directed by Robert Rodriguez), provides some of the most irresistible
things in the movie.

And what is more beautiful, save as the last best place. Final segment "Man of the
Hollywood" is already a bit of a masterpiece and once again manifests itself so clearly
how ingenious writer / actor / director Quentin Tarantino. Oscar de
"Pulp Fiction" just tells you that he has an incredible talent for creating
incredible dialogue that truly entertains. Adoro quarter of the film
Many times I've been watching only. I know that many people are thinking
Tim Roth is ridiculously overacting his role as the bellhop and
but I can not simply disagrees that one. In my opinion makes an elegant
and heart warming tribute to Jerry Lewis, while the evidence that is a
talented, intelligent and hilarious comedian who frankly do not overact
even half that, for example , Jim Carrey. "Four Rooms" is an understated
future cult classic.
