Download Movie I, RobotSet in a future Earth (2035 A.D.) where robots are common assistants and workers for their human owners, this is the story of "robotophobic" Chicago Police Detective Del Spooner's (Smith) investigation into the murder of Dr. Alfred Lanning (James Cromwell), who works at U.S. Robotics, in which a robot, Sonny (Tudyk), appears to be implicated, even though that would mean the robot had violated the Three Laws of Robotics, which is apparently impossible. It seems impossible because.. if robots can break those laws, there's nothing to stop them from taking over the world, as humans have grown to become completely dependent upon their robots. Or maybe... they already have? Aiding Spooner in his investigation is a psychologist, Dr. Susan Calvin (Moynahan), who specializes in the psyches of robots.

Director Alex Proyas, Helm cult favorites such as' Dark City 'and
' The Crow ', measures in the Hollywood limelight with his first attempt at a mainstream
Hollywood blockbuster.

'I, Robot' narrates the life of detective Del Spooner (Will Smith)
which has a techno-phobic vision of the world's newest device, a
Life as a robot created by the world's leading technology giant U.S.
Robotics. A link to Spooner in the past is linked to his phobia of
automaton movement sweeping the nation. According to U.S. Robotics,
1 robot will eventually every 5 persons.

Spooner is called to the offices of U.S. Robotics when a major
scientist (James Cromwell), with a secret link with Spooner, has
was apparently committed suicide. His death seems to have
mysterious circumstances that could bind a robot. With the man
full confidence in the new robotic technology, it seems too ridiculous to everyone except
Spooner.

As the mystery deepens, Spooner unravels the very fabric of robotics
giant locks horns with CEO Lawrence Robertson (Bruce Greenwood) and
learns more about his enemy automated with the help
of the scientist Dr. Susan Calvin (Bridget Moynahan). Through the course of these events
can learn more than you can imagine.

It is difficult to defend a film like 'I, Robot ", but I will try. For
sci-fi purists, Isaac Asimov's legendary work on the robot and the way he
intricate in our society has filled the minds of readers
for over 50 years. But the similarities between the film and presented here
their jobs are few and far between. Something as well as last week the release of Jerry Bruckheimer
'King Arthur'. Both films take
sacred subject matter and re-invent a new twist. I must say that 'I.
Robot 'is better in many respects.

At the core of 'I, Robot' late Asimov as the soul of his 3
laws regarding robots are sacredly left intact and the film makes respect
Them. Also many of the characters have names similar to the population in
the text. It's almost like taking Star Trek 'prime directive and
some of the already classic characters and the establishment of a new idea
the future. The core is left intact, but somehow
has been updated and renewed.

The story, special effects and over-zealous direction, however,
all seem to be raised by collaborators cobblestones that this movie
together. There are influences from 'Robocop', 'Short circuit', 'Blade Runner
', and even the classic comic book in the series' Magnus : Robot Fighter '.
Each of these influences robot echo back to what makes' I Robot 'to
intriguing, a joy to watch and memorable.

sure that history has a lot of science fiction and influences aside the cliches
robot movies like 'Star Wars' and' Planet of the Apes "But not these
reference sci-fi films influence everything coming
the Turnpike these days. Even has the classic sci-fi cliché of marginalized social
claiming there is an invasion coming, except that nobody
cree him. But that's not what we should bear in the film.

really need to give credit to director Alex Proyas, because it is
his magic as a filmmaker who has this movie together. On Saturday where
to play directly and where to leave their main player in bringing the charm.
Also you really have to admire the man's technical capacity. His brilliant
, which between robots in photography is amazing.
Proj is a list director in developing and 'I, Robot "shows that he
can offer a great Hollywood movie.

I also give credit to Will Smith being very beginning
inaccessible to its nature, but as the film will be
really like his hero. Smith Spooner has much of its previous
sci-fi heroes among laced in Spooner, but that comes as more than one
return home to a nuisance. Somehow I think that has something to do with
Proy, especially in the sequence down the scene
beginning of the film. Almost felt like "Men in Black '.

As for Smith's co-stars, Cromwell's Lanning is a matter of throwing
used mainly for effect, Moynahan is shy and sometimes robot-like, but
this is a robust performance and is threatening Greenwood and a good game
to face front against the rebels Smith.

The reason that was so fond of 'I, Robot' is, for once, because it is a summer movie
not apologize for try to be entertaining. The
special effects, action and direction are all what people want to see
in the summer and this film is loads and loads of fun.
This is a great popcorn movie with a giant light in layers of message.

My only small problem with this film is that it is supposed to be set
in Chicago in 2035. I do not buy it, but if it is 2135, then maybe.

insurance that the film does not pave new roads, but why is that each film.
It's pure summer fun and what is wrong with that.

For Asimov sci-fi purism and then you can always read the novels
. Stop apologizing and especially stop belly-aching, only
the film a chance. If you like science fiction and wants to be
remember how much fun they used to be then this photo
is the perfect ticket for you. Thus saith the Soothsayer.
According to Isaac Asimov, the Three Laws of Robotics are:

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being
actually damage. 2. A robot must obey orders given by
human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law
. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as
such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Now you do not have to be a web designer / hilarious movie reviewer
with a degree in electrical engineering and an MBA to realize that some kind of
interpretation of the ancient "Rules were made to be broken" adage
will take place. And that, my friends, is the nut that the history of
encased shell.

My friends: Um, what?

Oh, uh, sorry, I was trying to sound cool. Anyway ...

If you're the kind of person who likes to prejudge and make assumptions about
films based on trailers (unlike me, of course), then you may initially think this
movie is nothing but stupid all action. But that's not the case
. Oh, definitely there are some silly and unrealistic action.
Every time you have Will Smith surfing away from an explosion in a front doors
then you know that there are some things that you're only going to have to take
with two pinches of salt and a pinch of sugar , But I, Robot
do a good job of developing and revealing its history, while mixing everything in the correct amount of
cheek rump-kicking.

There is no denying that the special and visual effects are great, and
which are the main incentive for this movie. The car at the scene
tunnel is worth the price of admission, and the last 15 or 20 minutes
things really kick into overdrive 1969 Camaro. If you've gotta
go to the bathroom or get a replacement in the popcorn, then definitely do so before
the last 20 minutes. But I found myself really interested in the history
. The film succeeds in maintaining a fair amount of suspense and tension throughout
, and it throws a couple of turns just to keep things fresh
. Will robots as bad as it seems? Does Bruce Greenwood
the bad guy who seems to be? Why does exactly Will Smith hate robots
both? Will Alfonso Ribeiro somewhere sucking his thumb and crying,
wonder why not return to their telephone calls?

is pretty solid everywhere. In general, I like Will Smith.
But if you've seen Wild, Wild West then you know that it is not immune to
starring crap. Fortunately, this is not the case here. Will Smith plays quite
Will Smith, so take that for what you think is worth
. He is basically a cop with an attitude who likes to wax sarcastic
and rebel and be all things. And he has a good back and forths with the always adorable
that Bridget Moynahan as Susan Calvin, is an expert in robot psyches
and has a big mouth - much better than most
the size of Angelina Jolie has bananas plastering below his nose.

Entering into the film, I had my doubts. After all, when first
saw robots in the trailer, I thought they expected about as silly as
Tom Cruise with his gray hair in "Collateral." But the robot
special effects are really well done. I came away impressed. They are pretty realistic
(more humane than Al Gore, to be honest), especially in its
movements of the mouth (George Lucas - take note). And Mrs Shadow made a good
- if you're putting a robot in every home, then you probably do not want
is evil and menacing. The fight scenes between
robots are pretty cool without looking too fake. This is a good sign
we can move from CGI to be too obvious.

I do not know if I'm going to add to my DVD collection, but I definitely want
at least rent the DVD one day, assuming that
is loaded with cool special features. Only one question, which covers one of my
complaints about the film, why so many action films insist on
have a scene where the hero saves an animal in danger? I do not want to
See more dogs or cats are kept in the nick of time!
I do not want to see animals die or anything, but I'm tired of just useless "I
risk my life to save this animal" scenes. This is a ploy to get cheap
go to the hearings to "Awwwww." It works, but it makes me dry heaven.
