Everything clicks in this action-packed Cliffhanger. In its third (and
that during the years what cree que su last) adventure, Indy is in the
search of treasure that ultimately the Holy Grail. Along the way
contend with the Nazis, a secret brotherhood and, of course, snakes.
Sean Connery is a wonderful addition as the father of Indy, and
chemistry between him and star Harrison Ford can be one of the best in cinema history
. The film is a true rarity in their attempts to overcome each
Chase sequence previous success. Although children can have trouble
interpretations of the plot, this crusade is a people of all ages
enjoy.
RAIDERS When the loss of ARK was released, my companion and I
high school were the first in a line. We had no idea what the film is about
but wanted to see something spectacular and fun. Well, we were not disappointed
. I remember this experience fondly.

So when I saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, when he was released
in the movie, I could not believe how terrible and pathetic is beginning
(flashback to the threshing Youth Indy) so miserable (sexist
death of the sole female character throughout the film).

Let's start with the principle. On the other hand, maybe not. River Phoenix
was totally miscast as the young Indiana Jones. The only does not look like him
is fun at all. And for Indy have to go through a series of
incidents that took place at the same time explaining the Indy
fear of snakes, his hat, his whip, etc., was so evident bleeding and badly conceived
I thought that was a travesty. But it is not.
Is played straight. After seeing that beginning, I knew it was going to suffer
more. And suffer, I did.

Virtually every aspect of what made the first film so fun and memorable
was ruined by the terrible screenplay by Jeffrey BOAM. The
film is simply a collection of raw jokes, a boat load of matches
silly, ill-conceived action scenes (most of them and echoing
based on the first film) , A story filled with so many errors and
gigantic plot holes, forced sprinkled with comedy bits and
all wrapped in a sleek package that Paramount made happy.
The truth is, this was a stink, and they knew it. The series, only after
three films, and ran out of steam and after it ended.
Everything felt compelled at the last crusade. Harrison Ford seemed boring.
Like Phoenix, Sean Connery is miscast as Indy's father.
The only reason that Connery was hired to make a link with the series and Indy
the James Bond series. Nothing more. Connery added nothing to
series. But the worst aspect of this turkey was his only woman
character. In the first Indiana Jones, Marion was an equal to Indy.
She was spunky, and even beautiful. In the final crusade, Alison Doody
plays Elsa, a nasty Nazi bitch blonde who dies a miserable death at the end
. Pretty sad when you think about it.

The action throughout the film was so convincing as a
Tom & Jerry cartoon. Case in point, when Connery frightens birds on the beach and
makes them fly directly in front of an aircraft in order to achieve
plane. Not only is this stupid scene but it is crass re: the
animal welfare. The matches are so moronic and groaners such
(Indy crash into Hitler) that I have never done so much eye rolling
during the display of a single film. Had this been the first Indiana Jones movie
, would have flopped because they were both in basa RAIDERS "
coat tails that if you have not seen the first, would not have
much sense.

After the bad experience that was DOOM temple, Indiana Jones and the last
Cruz was the last straw and my enthusiasm for this "series"
completely evaporated. That was 18 years ago. Now I hear they are doing
an Indy 4. They should not bother with it. Put a fork in it. This is done.
