Download Movie Lara Croft: Tomb RaiderA member of a rich British aristocratic family, Lara Croft is a "tomb raider" who enjoys collecting ancient artifacts from ruins of temples, cities, etc. worldwide, and doesn't mind going through death-defying dangers to get them. She is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, weapons training, and foreign languages - and does them all in tight outfits. Well, the planets of the solar system are going into planetary alignment (Which occurs every 5,000 years), and a secret society called the Illuminati is seeking an ancient talisman that gives its possessor the ability to control time. However, they need a certain clock/key to help them in their search, and they have to find the talisman in one week or wait until the next planetary alignment to find it again. Lara happens to find that key hidden in a wall of her mansion. The Illuminati steal it, and Lara gets an old letter from her deceased father telling her about the society's agenda (Her father was also the one who hid the key). Now, she must retrieve the key and find and destroy the talisman before the Illuminati can get their hands on it.

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie of "Girl, Interrupted"
stands out like a feast for the eyes as sexy, two toting firearms, cyber-heroine Lara Croft in
British director Simon West ' ; s opus adventure "Tomb Raider"
with Daniel Craig, Jon Voight, Iain Glenn. Lens Peter Menzies'
spectacular widescreen cinematography, Kirk M. Petruccelli 's noble
production designs and exotic landscapes Within Cambodia and Iceland
round out this radiant visual treatment. While it is only guaranteed
great movie, "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" may have given
"Indiana Jones" a true length of its archaeology. Unfortunately, this pretentious,
predictable, bad script and $ 90 million big screen version of the popular
, driven by estrogen, feminist-oriented video game extravaganza
substitutes for white-knuckle thrill of his homonym Arcade.
Simon West, director whose credentials include "The General's Daughter
" and "Con Air" and a quintet of scenarists
shoulder most of the blame for this misbegotten mishmash melodramatic.

not only first-class epic action require a difficult opponent, but
these films must also assume some semblance of a coherent plot to tie
their scenes together. Iain Glen fastidious never made a particular impression
Lara as the archenemy. The pales in comparison with other
villains that audiences love to hate, such as Darth Vader in "Star
Star Wars" (1977), Deeb in "Friday" (1995) or Clarence Boddicker
"Robocop" (1987). Moreover, the synthetic, by the number of scripts
duo written by Patrick Massett and John Zinman TV's "Friday Night Lights
" Glen gives neither Jolie nor anything to make it truly memorable
action Lurcher clumsiness of an elaborate set piece to another showdown
. Unfortunately, "Tomb Raider" degenerates around the world scavenger hunt
without a sufficient number of any of the moments Cliffhanger
daring acrobatics or to distract us from the situation of the mechanics of his
middle of the oven plot.

repeatedly, the characters remind us that everything that happens in one week
time, but West drums until negligible suspense about this critical moment
element. Imagine the Bruce Willis bomb "Hudson Hawk" (1991) crossed
woebegone with the 1996 version of "The Phantom" with Billy Zane, and
can guess what episodic and ill-conceived of this world travel,
riddled with bullets, was supernatural adventure. Worse still, when a character holds
humanity lacks the moral capacity to deal with secrecy in "Tomb Raider
," our video game-inspired vixen ignored his warning. Obviously,
West and his scribes have forgotten the familiar adage: "If it does not
broke, do not fix it". Although he knows little about the "Tomb Raider" games
, friends have told me that is fundamentally about the exploits of a woman who
se basa en su strong shooting skills to survive a < br> obstacle course. If this is indeed the case, West and company
have developed "Mad Max" style shenanigans rather than the older Nancy Drew
antics represented in the film.

The problem with "Tomb Raider" The West never allows its excesses overblown
to celebrate its Hokey histrionics, like the "Batman" movies. Late
action Helm Don Siegel of "Dirty Harry" fame once said
when a movie can not justify their own ends, then it must be an end in itself
of his great opera dimensions. "Tomb Raider"
contains its share of big scenes, but the filmmakers spend every opportunity to
Wallowa excess for the sake of excess. Worse, the film offers Lara
with two potential sources of comedy: a nerdy Q-type computer whiz
Bryce (Noah Taylor of "Shine") and a style of Hilary
butler Alfred ( Christopher Barrie, better known as Rimmer in British television's "Red Dwarf")
but get little mileage, whether boy.

The first mistake that the West is done with the prologue useless. When
Lady Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie with an English accent)
is not our universe savings of evil, hone their skills in combat
funhouse an establishment within his palace, 82-room, English country manor.
Lara pits itself against a monstrous "Robocop" cyborg. Like the "Pink Panther
" comedies where the hero Repulse surprise attacks by his house boy
Asia, Lara contends with a robot that never relents. She
blasts away with two pistols in defiance of this shiny, metallic
beast, but nothing can stop it. Finally, the wheels
exercise and reprograms as a giant juke box. So much for suspense!
Because Lara was never really in danger, this scene lacks openness
power. Moreover, it achieves nothing pouring
fusillade of bullets into the robot, because it was seen as aggressive as
pebbles. As fabulously wealthy as "Batman" Bruce Wayne, wants Croft
for anything, but grieves for her long lost father, Lord Richard
Croft (Jolie in real life father Jon Voight in "Midnight Cowboy")
has been missing since 1985 and presumed dead. This father-daughter relationship
is the only characteristic that makes Lara seems remote
sympathetic. Otherwise, she emerges as a snotty girl
with nothing better to do than race around the world looting of artifacts
and behave like a rooster tease.

Lara match wits, fists and driving with a ruthless antiques dealer,
Manfred Powell (Iain Glen "Young Americans"), who travels in the lap of luxury
with its own private army of trigger-happy mercenaries. These fires
goons probably more bullets were discharged during the two World Wars
, and still can not beat Lara! Adequacy and taciturn
Saturnino, Powell has villainous inclinations
that are never fully realized. When Lara and meet initially with jets of the best online
film: "My ignorance amuses me." Exciting as it all sounds, "
Tomb Raider" to be wound up with his tortuous parody of a plot that
action often grinds to halt for long, stretches of verbose
numb the mind of exposure on astronomy. Occasionally, shows that the West can
helm big action scenes. The best and only example occurs early on when Manfred
henchmen invade Croft Manor and pajamas-clad Lara
resists them with an elastic cord and a motorcycle. However,
compared with Hong Kong Chick Flick thrillers produced a decade ago, even
hellacious this scene breaks no new ground. The rest of "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
" qualifies as anti-climatic, more illogical drivel that
even Angelina Jolie can succeed.
this film holds the record for me.

I have fallen asleep while watching it ever - surpassing
my previous record of the first Star Trek movie to me
took four tries to get all the way through it.

The tragedy is not true that this movie is bad - is
how much money was spent on it, and it is not good. I've seen some really bad movies lately
that were made with a minimal budget but at least
bad enough to be fun (for example: "Shark Attack 3").

LKTR But no excuse. For that kind of money could have paid
of a plot.

in all fairness, I have not played any video games since
"Doom" or "Heretic" was, and I am not a fan of Jolie. Frankly (and I
clearly in the minority here), not find her very attractive. But.
. . I enjoyed his athletics, and what I have read, it did
very good job of playing the character of Lara Croft.

And some of the sets were very impressive.

Unfortunately, however, I was much more entertaining to read the reviews that I was
by the film. And in that sense, I have noticed that there are basically three types of
comments here:

1) A critical review of plot, cinematography, action, etc.
reviews are usually well written and, in general, the conclusion that this is
a horrible movie.

2) comments that give this film ten stars and generally
read something like this: "This is a good movie. I liked this movie.
It's the best action film ever! Angelina Jolie is hotter! "

3) The reviews that read:" This is a miserable film, but because of
AJ's breasts, I will give it three stars. "And because

exams type # 3, this movie rates about two stars
higher than it otherwise.

But who knows? Maybe next time is on TNT, I'm going to beer
up a pot of coffee, and could even reach the final.
