I just see Sleepy Hollow in an advanced preview show in the UK. I went

with a couple of mates, all of whom had seen some before Tim Burton, but only
I was a big fan. I just love Tim Burton's surrealistic style of directing and

all movies I've seen of his (Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice, Edward

Hands scissors, Ed Wood, Mars Attacks!, Etc.), I thought only Mars Attacks!
was less than superb. ESH, for example, has an excellent environment for innocent

but it is very dark at times. So far, with the launch of a new Tim Burton film
(a story I remember fondly of former Disney Cartoon

50) and I am not excited to see it! And so, I sat in the darkened cinema
in my local multiplex and you will be surprised. From the dark and mysterious opening
the most humor inoculated yet no less horrific end this
is one of my favorite movies ever! I am a great fan of horror film and was so
waiting to see what Tim Burton would take a real horror film. My God,
did well. The look of the piece is very dark and evil (the
Horseman kills men, women and children with equal enthusiasm), but retains
scenes of beauty, dream states, once again, make good use of Mr
Burton's own thoughts and visions. It's a very fun movie, too.
Depp is great as an Englishman (only americas Twang on a sliding
syllable at the beginning of the film) is going to battle and inspect headless horseman,
beetle full of corpses warmly, but then leap a chair, shouting
when he sees a spider! Christina Ricci was also very good. Usually, their parts are beautiful
not yet see that evil characters
innocent and pure until you look in their eyes… not, although this time. She just looks, well, sweet!
She spoke softly and very carefully and that's all, not at daggers
students, not Sly frowns at the camera. Christopher Walken made small

role he had in the headless horseman (he played on the few occasions
actually had a head) his own with his usual bad Visage and a load of shouting
! Plus nastily shaved in the teeth. The real masterstroke
although this film, or at least their main worry is the use of Ray Park.

For those of you who saw Episode One and enjoy the lightsabre battle in the end, Ray

Park was Darth Maul! He brings a very modern look for the fight, more
scenes are fought with a sword in one hand and an axe in the other! Its medieval

like John Woo! However, almost every time you hold a gun

Is it some kind of style with their hands on a flip to the sound of wonder
over-the-top buches sounds! The deaths, most of whom
decapitations of course, all are seen on screen in full, gory glory. Not a single piece

of blood escapes the cameras here! The film actually takes a lot of blood

but there is a kind of comic book red blood red, which adds to

the entire film does not feel very real. Cinematography is once again
Burton, excellent. The vile smog0filled Century 18 in New York and
Scarecrows at the beginning. My god, the scarecrow, its so bad! In
screen for a second but his tough image…
But anyway, ultimately, this is a fantastic film. Burton has never done anything this
visually eye-popping before (take a bow
Industrial Light & Magic). The plot is both intriguing and whimsical, the acting excellent, it

has a cameo by Christopher Lee Hammer Horror master and has
one of the most evil, most terrifying, most magnificently done supernatural
ill
I've seen… and I saw a lot!
Go see this movie if you like horror or just want faster
fun…

Tim Burton has once again demonstrated its value with a masterpiece of Gothic horror.
The whole way the film is done is excellent, of how the
special effects are used to enhance the story, rather than sell the film, the
magnificent performance of the entire cast. I must confess that it was a little reluctant to
first to see Johnny Depp in the lead role, but from the outset was
changed my mind as he launched enthusiastically into the part with exactly the right mix of
legitimate expectations supposed tempered by a realistic picture of a man desperately
outside its depth of the situation.

The story, sets, special effects and most of all the cast and director
make this a movie worth seeing, certainly the best of
Hollywood in a long time. Other directors take note .. is not the way
big budget, is what you do with him. A turkey stuffed with gold is
remains a turkey, but this movie is pure gold, without a hint of poultry.
