I still believe in this movie. They are not all these "prizes" of
movies out there, and some of them (I think JUNO) are really great, but others are just
pedigree films that "should" see, but in reality not
Really want to see or enjoy seeing. After waking. This is a
film with a capital M. This is a film that has only one
Roller Coaster great moment. Leave your inner critic at home and
just sit and enjoy the fascinating entertainment. It has surprising twists that even lame criticism
said that "they did not like this movie,"
sheepishly admit was incredibly well done. I noted that Roger Ebert
not follow the crowd and said it was great. Because it is. Awesome.
"Awake" makes perfectly clear from the outset that 1 in every
300 people under anesthesia remains Awake during surgery-a resulting
unfathomable. Hayden Christensen plays Clay Beresford, who discovers
Awake during surgery heart transplant. After a
body of experience that screams, "I am so f --- ed!" However, the clay
conscious state is the least of which is their tragedy. In
director and writer Joby Harold of the unexpected "Awake", all is not at all what
seems surprising in a story of love and betrayal.
Hayden Christensen and Lena Olin are impressive and electrifying, as they raise "Awake".
Christensen shows that he was the victim of the script written in the
"Star Wars Episode" movies. He is electrifying in "Awake". Lena Olin,
Clay's mother who plays Lilith, is incredible as evidenced
nature of his power. This is not the grace and pathos as her Lilith
confesses to his son, "I am so proud of the man, who had become ..."
Jessica Alba struggles as the wife of his clay - mother is not aware of
their relationship and marriage. As Sam, Alba plays a key role crucial;
However, we still do not have the dramatic weight or depth to carry
this. Terrace Howard is strong as the clay surgeon, but his
performance is deficient in its emotional ambiguity. In most of these shortcomings
not distracted, just for power to
Christensen and Olin. Even with some of the narrative shortcomings, I really applaud
"Awake" with its story of love and eternal
recognizing the greatness of others before it is too late.

Hayden Christensen is Clay Beresford. He is a young, bright and
rich philanthropist from New York. As successful as it has become clay, which
still believes that pales in comparison to his late father, business tycoon
Sor clay clay of the beautiful and protective mother Lilith rest

. Without a Lilith, the clay is in connection with
Sam (Alba) and wants to marry her which inevitably infuriate
his mother. The melodrama finally reached its tipping point: Clay
goes under the knife to receive his new heart.
Remaining Awake under anesthesia appears to be the least of their concerns. Here
writer and director Joby imaginative history of their craft and our conscience.

In less than an hour and 20 minutes, the narrative is riveting
with pathos and convolution, before arriving at the conclusion of his statement.
Christensen is absolutely incredible. He displayed a humanity and tangible
conceals a quiet strength and power. Lena Olin is phenomenal. She is the rock solid
as the "Awake" emotional anchor. Her dramatic turn is
and touching comedy. With the graph of the open heart surgery sequences, "Awake"
can not be for everyone. Note that "Awake" is more than
his medical situation. "Awake" is a touching story of love and greatness,
well worth seeing.
