Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is a deliciously soft for a movie
family. That probably will not win any industry awards - except for the excellent graphics
of funds - but
touch a few hearts.
reminders of how precious life is magical and the frequent use of idioms
Down Beat cover most of Dustin Hoffman's dialogue.
The chemistry between the cast is participation, so much so that all the "foot
on" the functions appear to disrupt the most important moment for the
key players. The end / beginning is a bit steep. The characters
Bellini, the Bookbuilder Eric and mother that you really wonder what
add to the story, because you know somewhere in the script
have to have more depth. Are lost here.
If you have even the remotest curmudgeon tendencies in his personality and
mock sentimental movies, stay away from this movie.
If you still love the holidays and see the magic in snow and sunsets, enjoy!
My husband and I to our 4-year-old daughter to see this movie last night
. We have seen (and loved) the bee movie, and nothing more
seemed appropriate for their age. Despite horrible reviews, which gave him a shot.
I loved this movie. It is not often that a guy from the movie could happen to me
tears, but one had a powerful (and simple) message ... WHAT IS THE LIFE
YOU MAKE OF IT.
My daughter was bored to the point of begging to leave us. This from a
child who sees the movie-going as the final treatment. While it is visually stimulating
general, could not have been more in the way of special effects
.
Jason Bateman was surprisingly good in his role of accounting
mutant. Some of the most exciting moments of the film were created by
little more than the expression on his face.
Natalie Portman was radiant and friendly and androgynous ...? ;)
She could easily have been mistaken for a thirteen years of age, children
during most of the film, to the point where it seemed that had forced his chest
until you see this way. But it's not about the boobies, and
is not a romantic love story, which I appreciated very much.
No sex. No violence. No profanity. My husband hated it.
It is not love ... much love. Pure love. The kind of love that you feel when you're
a child, and his mind has not yet been bogged down with soul-crushing
of adults insist on accountability.
This film is a good kick in the pants so that no one should be reminded that
not have to be a child to see the potential in
you and the world around you. You just need to relax a bit and
believe in magic.
