Academy Award nominee 'Diane Lane (I)' (qv) stars as 'Frances Mayes' (qv), a 35-year-old San Francisco writer whose perfect life has just taken an unexpected detour. Her recent divorce has left her with terminal writer's block and extremely depressed, and her best friend, Patti, is beginning to think she might never recover. Frances decides to take a break and she buys a villa in the beautiful Tuscan countryside and decides to begin anew. Restoring her new home, she eventually finds the fulfillment she was searching for, including love. Based on 'Frances Mayes' (qv)' memoir of the same name.

Inevitable spoilers!

I love a romantic comedy until the next moviewatcher, but it has
many silly things about it that I could not ignore them and enjoy the
history. You do not even know where to start, but I will give it a try
.

Dolores were taken to impress us that the French, the leading lady,
not have much money loser after her husband has half the house in addition to alimony.
Well, okay, but when you go to Italy that suddenly becomes independent
rich, first buying a house after three Polish workers employed full time to restore the place

Italian stereotypes? You want it, you got it. Crazy Contessa old who has

radiant and beautiful landscapes, but that was just not enough for me to go beyond wincible
cornball dialogue and situations.
