The year is 2022, prison systems from all over the world are now run by private corporations and have become business. After being sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his commanding officer who ordered him to wipe out innocent people. Convicted soldier John Robbins is dumped on the prison island Absolom (after he refused to execute his cell-mate and assaulted the Warden). On Absolom, convicts are put there to either survive or die. Robbins finds the prison island is inhabited by two camps, The Outsiders, tribes of savage prisoners led by the evil Walter Merrick and The Insiders, a community of prisoners living in a fortified village "The Compound" led by The Father. Robbins finds escape from Absolom is impossible, surveillance satellites monitor Absolom and gunships prevent all convicts from escaping from the prison island and The Warden has secretly put a spy on Absolom. Caught up in a feud between the two camps, Robbins is determined to escape from the prison island and finds it is his ultimate challenge as nobody has ever escaped and he agrees to help The Insiders defend "The Compound" from The Outsiders.

When I first sat down to watch this movie, I did not expect much; Indeed,
I was preparing myself mentally for a total failure ... but it really took me by surprise
. It's really very interesting, and has a good action sequences
. The plot is quite interesting, over and moves very well,
rapidly moving, constantly evolving. He was persuasive enough,
there was really no scenes that were terrible, although many of the
scenes and lines are very corny, but it fits perfectly with the film, and as such was not outside
place. It's almost a B-movie, but if you like (or simply enjoy
gently) B-movies, is probably at least reasonably
entertained by him. It is reminiscent of films such as strength, but a little better
that is very unpredictable, no matter what you think is
is going to happen, he was surprised again and again what happens.
It is very interesting all the way through, it had some good, 80-style action,
corny B-movie, a B-movie feel throughout the movie ... well, if
can see for free, or borrow from a friend, or see it on television ...
if not, just to see if you're in films such as Fortress.

On the surface, this seems like a dumb movie that is excessively violent
seeds and also because it features, but nothing more hardened criminals

"Walter Marek (Stuart Wilson) is a man with a good sense of humor

safe.

"No Escape" is strictly an action film with a cast that has male-
a sombre atmosphere of the fight against convicts out on an island in the year inescapable
2022.

profane is not everything that was, except in a tough movie like this and -
in a real rarity - Lance Henriksen is the most beautiful man in the movie! The
never utters a bad word or angry. If you know the characters are usually
Henriksen plays, you know this is a rarity. Ray Liotta, Michael Lerner
and Ernie Hudson also stars, so it's decent cast.

could do much worse for two hours of "escapist" fare.
