The animated story of Bambi, a young deer hailed as the 'Prince of the Forest' at his birth. As Bambi grows, he makes friends with the other animals of the forest, learns the skills needed to survive, and even finds love. Happy, playful, moving and inspirational, Walt Disney's "Bambi" is a precious jewel
that will last longer than most of us. In fact,
has a quality time, accompanied by an enchanting music and Result
wonderful character voices. Pauline Kael in The New Yorker poked fun at
- the voice changes when the baby animals grow up during the winter (sort of
a puberty-in-the-thicket), but what otherwise was there
to show the passage of time and how it changes everything, including forests
creatures take for granted? It is an incredible achievement. The song
Result never got a positive response from the size of, say, "when you wish once
Star", but the feature sprightly "Little April Showers," which makes
underscore the sequence of the best. *** 1 / 2 to ****
I was staying in the house of my three-year-old niece after all the world had
ido to bed, and I found this title popped into the VCR. I had only a rough
familiarity with the plot (like all, I knew that Bambi's mother receives
dead) and is also aware that "Bambism" has been used as describing a
too sentimental love of wildlife.

Oh wow. I thought that although this film certainly has a heart for
characters, is not at all sugarcoated about the realities of animal life.
Consider the following points were made:

1) The animals do not live in nuclear families. Bambi lives with his mother only
, his alleged father is off in the background.

2). The animals often go hungry in the winter.

3). Male animals must be prepared to fight rivals as a prelude to
mating.

4). The man (in this case assisted by dogs lackeys) is easily the most dangerous creatures
face the threat.

Rather than put a gloss on Hollywood animal life, "Bambi" in any case
is better than what we would today. Remember that the same study
recently in a Hercules doting nuclear family, the actual circumstances of the birth of the hero
apparently too outrageous contemporary thought
children to be exposed to (although one assumes ancient Greece, where children
handles them well enough).

Plus if one takes into account that a large segment of the population has a
"humanity could not be guilty" attitude toward the destruction of
animal populations, you know Point 4). above today softpedaled
if not completely neutralized by adding human characters sympathetic.
Look what happened with the TBS otherwise excellent production of "Animal Farm
. "

And the animation! The beautiful, drawn in pencil impressionist
deliveries of the rhythms of the forest makes you wonder if modern
animators have not been spoiled by computer graphics. I am only sorry I
probably do not see this movie in a theater because it was destined to be seen
.

As cliché as it may seem, this is a timeless film for all ages.
I can not praise highly enough.
