In this modern day Romeo and Juliet, kung fu action star Jet Li plays Romeo to hip-hop singer, Aaliyah Haughton's Juliet. Li is an ex-cop investigating the murder of his brother, who had ties with the Chinese mafia in America. Aaliyah plays the daughter of the American mob boss. Neither side approves of their romance, so, obviously, kung fu action ensues, with a soundtrack by Aaliyah.

I have read some not so great comments about "Romeo Must Die" for what it really
did not have my hopes high. I just decided to see it because I love
Jet Li. Good thing I did see it! It was so cool! Jet Li
not disappoint - not only was his fight like 'wow' as ever (and I know a lot of people think too
CGI was used,
compromising their true abilities. I am agree with that, but it must be admitted, which still awaits
dayam quite good), his dramatic acting is also surprising! However,
living in Hong Kong, I do have some problems with the movie. Firstly, it really exaggerates
whole thing Asia, making it seem like that
All practices Chinese Kung Fu in our backyards while drinking
Oolong tea every day ... in fact, is not what people do in Hong Kong (yes, I'm sorry if I'm
destroying some dreams here - Hong Kong people do too

Jet Li martial arts style). The Chinese people in the film
all have names like "Po" and "Han" and say things like "let's show our true strength

also some confusion with Chinese and Japanese because I swear, sometimes

Even so, I liked the movie. There was not enough development between Jet
Aaliyah and Jet Li, but still hopes really nice. Jet Li kicks
something really serious in the movie and so I left all the other things slide
- Even the idea that the Chinese boys are found to be the bad guys and black guys
reach become a reality ... awww ... really good people.
Lindo was good and Aaliyah was really good. It's sad - it
have done an excellent actress and I am happy that he did leave behind at least
this movie.

See this film. I realized that my analysis is not really good
too positive, but trust me - I really like the film. In fact, I'm going to see
again now!
Romeo Must Die is the best Jet Li film to date. It is full of
incredible fight scenes, a lot of jokes and a great atmosphere
sorrounding the film. This is Jet Li Hollyood the second film after the
Hit Lethal Weapon 4. Some of the scenes of fighting are computerized, but
Impress great moment. This is my favorite Jet Li film, others include
Kiss of the Dragon, Unleashed, Born to defend and Black Mask. The late
Aliyah looks great as ever, especially when Li took the
night club. DMX appears in this movie in a small role, then made a decent movie
alongside Li in Cradle 2 the grave. It was not exactly a
Blockbuster Hit a movie, but it's great fun. There are a large number of agents
, another actor who laughs is expected Maureen, who also appears in
Cradle 2 the grave. One of my favorite scenes is when
Jet Li plays football, and is sarcasticlly damaged on purpose. The
decided to take advantage of the rules and hit again in a big way.
recommended if you enjoyed Jet Li Movies.
