A must see for any Hunter S. Thompson fan. If you have read the book
you know that this movie captures the same excitement and chaos created within it
pages. Abosolutly
impossible to get bored watching this movie and I sat down with a bunch of people who followed the
ended with a scene stupid 'I do not get it right', but they are missing the point
that there is indeed a point. All this is only create
to try to capture Hunter's hedonistic lifestyle and assure him that
after seeing this film you want your life was more exciting
and could even lead to to the point where you think "Well, that's all,
I will leave, get drunk and go to Las Vegas and have a good old
Hunt S Thompson-Esquire adventure, and I do not care what you said. "
Brilliant performances by Johnny Depp and Benico Del Toro.

"The fear and horror in Las Vegas" was originally an article published in two parts
in Rolling Stone magazine. It was written by Hunter S.
Thompson. It tells the story of a journalist reporting on the Mint 500
in Las Vegas.
Terry Gilliam (the director) is a consummate filmmaker who
began his career as a member of Monty Python. He made all his
animations.
These two men on their own are incredibly smart and talented artists in
media of their choice. What we get from this combination
is one of the best films ever made. This is a more or less true story. This is a wonderful
distorted view about the nature of americas "culture" of a
Askew angle completely. Drugs, drugs and more drugs, but instead of preaching
their ills or tell you how life is fabulous when you're
acid, gives us an unbiased approach for use with experience and
abuse.
Visually the film is incredible and both Johnny Depp and Del Toro Benizio
are true to the book. I could not recommend this film more highly
.
