A rare atmospheric phenomenon allows a New York City firefighter to communicate with his son 30 years in the future via short-wave radio. The son uses this opportunity to warn the father of his impending death in a warehouse fire, and manages to save his life. However, what he does not realize is that changing history has triggered a new set of tragic events, including the murder of his mother. The two men must now work together, 30 years apart, to find the murderer before he strikes so that they can change history—again.

Wow, what a film of suspense! It is a combination of crime and fantasy
history, a travel time employee as the subject of a child is able to speak with his father
30 years in the past and help change history for the better.
Far-fetched? Oh, of course, but does not purport to be taken seriously as
something might happen. Like "Field of Dreams", is pure fantasy
but a good parent-child-and vehicles that makes - or at least it did
me - bring a tear or two for their eyes.

The young boy is played by Jim Caviel and his dad is played by Dennis Quaid
. Both are excellent and likable guys, as they usually are in the
films played. They talk with each other through an old ham radio.
across him, the son helps save his mom and dad in the lives of a few occasions
and catch a serial murderer in the process. Well, you have to see that
to explain things because only makes it seem unimportant. There is a fine
and a great movie escapist entertainment. Once you get into this
history, it is impossible to make. For New York City people, and fans
of the New York Mets, I imagine this movie has added
sentimentality.

You can not help it! You must encourage and applaud this film.
I can not remember the last time the entire audience clapped at the end of a movie.

This has been so long since a movie that was warm your heart,
while keeping you on the edge of your seat. This film will make you laugh,
get a little mist in the eyes, and you will not be time.
You're almost sad to see that end. Dennis Quaid is excellent, this is your best

film in years. This film also has some new faces that are not soon forget.
Not take my word on this, see your car. You will be thinking about this movie
for weeks.
