What I loved about this movie was its seamy rough portrait of man
dark side. It is rare that a film to probe the area of human nature.
The happy-go-lucky Hollywood ending has become so cliché that
seems that nobody wants to delve into the tragic aspect of life. But as
person who has lived in that reality for most of his life, I very much appreciate
when directors, writers, actors and are willing to explore the
lonely sadness, vulnerability behind the Mask hard, hot
desire for revenge, and even the momentum towards the hope that suicide
define a part of what it means to be human. The Law brothers
was clearly written with that intention and I applaud for that.

What I disliked about this movie is that despite covering such
rarely explored part of human nature, the cliches of Hollywood sporadically broke
by. The first action sequences are perfect: the short, explosive, and
adjusted. The final action sequence, on the other hand, fell into standard
Format: large long gunfight, hero outruns some bullets, police appear
and extras were fired, bad runs out of hero and gives the main sequence
To a final confrontation, etc. To be fair, however, badly need points
is granted by a lot of unorthodox things. The main antagonist role
switched three times each was killed outside. And as mentioned in
another review, there was great attention to detail regarding
reloading weapons and such, I guess it's a credit to director Brian Smrz
's vast experience as a stunt man.

Ultimately it appeared that this picture was being pulled in two directions
. On the one hand, seems to have been written as a
dark examination of a troubled character seeks revenge, and even more poignantly
, his own death. And likewise appears that the director has
some rare good ideas for the film. But then somewhere along the way, the film remains
withdrawn at the level of action movie
trodden themes and theatrical devices. And, of course, the misplaced
happy ending had to be with tacks in the final (and even still had a darkness to
). It is as if the producers and writers
constantly struggling with the director stuck in the middle, and only a few
victories for each side.

My opinion continues to this duality. I loved the story that was underneath.
survived the parties added about him that seemed so false to their nature.
He was a good fine, and had been a very good film if
the last action sequence and the last minute had not ruined.
