There is very little "good" no country for old beyond the
mesmerizing acting with cruelty and dark dash. In contrast, the
unholy trinity of temptation, cynicism and pure, dark, evil take center stage
in this modern Western directed by brothers Joel and Ethan Coen.

based on the 2003 Cormac McCarthy novel, the film is set in the dusty Texas border areas
as hunter Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) stumbles
to the remains of a desert drug deal gone wrong with a
case containing two million dollars. Succumbing to temptation,
Moss does with the money that the launch of a chain of events that leaves a trail of blood dotted
carnage throughout the state as it is pursued by the ruthless
, firing HIT MAN currencies Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), whose death among
weapon of choice is a pneumatic air gun.

Bearing little in common with almost any film with Coen
the possible exception of Blood Simple, No Country for Old Men is a
dark, sombre ode to the Baser elements of the human soul , And a grill

I reluctantly have to admire in favor of the more unpredictable.

Consider the film like a big raffle - will be heads or
stories? They call it - which has been demanding that all his life.
I saw this film at a preview screening in private in Pittsburgh 5/16/07.
I went with five other friends. The entire group was male, 20 years old,
the university and most of the athletes. I explain the demographic characteristics of myself and my colleagues
to why I was the only one that came out of the movie
completely satisfied. The story is fresh and different
and I do not think that my friends were able to fully enjoy what was going on
on the screen. I did. And I'm still trying to fully understand what an achievement that is

The Coens begin the film with a voice more against a barren Texas landscape

representation of the madness of violence that exists in society. There is no
negotiations with him, which has always been here and
always be here. Is he / she leaves us in shock and terror and everything that we can do is ...
? The first thing you have to say about the sound is that if
another film wins a prize throughout the year for the sound or editing,
investigations must be conducted for judges and bank accounts controlled.
The sound in this movie is so shockingly good. There is no music (except
some comically placed source music) and the film is the best for
that. People talk about how the music in Jaws higher voltage
what was happening on screen. People should, from now on
say that the lack of music and the placement of the sound source to No Country for Old Men
more excited.

I'm certainly rooting for No Country for Old Men to come out with the hardware
Cannes.
