One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can't see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Still, Horton stands by the motto that, "After all, a person is a person, no matter how small."

So far, this is the best possible example of bringing a book Dr.
Seuss to life. The animation is first class and design of the characters remain faithful to
Dr. Seuss' vision. In general, a splendid effort from 20
Century Fox.

"Horton" tells the story of an eccentric elephant named Horton (
voice of Jim Carrey) who ofendiere floating in a speck that is in fact an infinitesimal
world that is home thousands of small creatures
Whoever calls. Although microscopic, the world known as
Whoville is a land of technological achievement. The little creatures that are intelligent
which is strange in appearance.

The Mayor of Whoville (voice of Steve Carell) is the first person to come into contact with
Horton after he hears her voice in a drain.
Like Horton, has a personality somewhat strange, so nobody cree
him when he says that the world will end. Similarly, nobody
cree Horton's assertion that a race of people are living in
diminutive speck.

After he is rejected by his friends and society, establishes Horton
off the misfortune of his life to the speck moved to a safe place
location so that Whoville citizens can live in peace once again.

Again, this is a great movie for all ages. Children return to the exuberant
animation, while parents can have a chuckle at the jokes
adults who are scattered throughout. Dr. Seuss to be proud.
I went and saw this movie with my high school drama group, we had
Suessical done recently for a school musical and he played the Mayor of Whoville
, and I liked the whole thing from start to finish. The cast
for this movie did an excellent job with the voices of the characters,
Jim Carrey is most notable in my opinion. Steve Carell
also made an amazing job as the mayor of Whoville.It also has good, clean
humor that is both fun and suitable for all ages. I laughed through
nearly 90% of the film and I did not see one thing that is deemed inappropriate for someone
couple. This film lives up to the legacy of
the book and I do not care what age you like the sport, will laugh loudly and
enjoy this hilarious movie Dr. Seuss.
